Juicing Recipes for Health

Your health is your wealth because the greatest wealth is health. You need to take care of your health. Taking care of your health is not just having a good bath, and putting on good clothes. It involves more than that. Taking care of your health also involves juicing. Though eating the right food and keeping fit helps the body to be strong and help you cope with stress, juicing the right fruits and veggies will also help you achieve these. Fruit and veggie juices can improve your health and reduce the risk of developing several diseases like Type 2 diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and other debilitating health complications. Good fruit and veggie juices can also help you to prevent the risk of cancer.

In this article, I will share with you the right fruit and veggie juices for a healthy lifestyle.

  1. Avocado Juice Recipe
    Avocados are very rich in fibers and potassium than bananas. They are also high in vitamin C and carotenoids which help in age-related eye conditions. Also, avocados contain antioxidants which help prevent various forms of cancer and inflammation.
    2 ripe fresh avocados
    2 tablespoon sugar (optional)
    4 ice cubes (optional)
    Peel the avocados and cut into different halves
    Place the chunks in a blender and add little water
    Pour the juice in a glass cup and add the sugar
    N.B: The sugar is said to be optional because avocados contain D- Mannoheptulose, a type of sugar that helps maintain blood sugar levels.
  2. Orange Juice Recipe
    Oranges are full of soluble fibers that help lower the level of LDL cholesterol. Oranges also reduce the risk of diseases since they contain vitamin C, which protects the cells by neutralizing free radicals. Free radicals cause chronic diseases, like cancer and heart diseases. But taking an orange juice can help you prevent these diseases.
    14 fresh oranges
    1 tablespoon honey (for taste)
    4 ice cubes 
    Wash and peel the oranges
    Remove the seeds with a fork
    Add the ice cubes and smash to pieces
    Pour the juice in a cup and serve immediately
  3. Pineapple Juice Recipe
    Pineapple contains a lot of disease-fighting antioxidants. Since pineapples contain bromelain, which has anti-inflammatory properties, taking pineapple juice provides pain relief for those with inflammatory arthritis.
    1 large fresh pineapple
    1 tablespoon of honey
    ½ cup of water
    Wash the pineapple
    Peel, cut, and chop into chunks
    Puree in a juice extractor and juice to smoothness
    Pour in a bowl and serve or refrigerate and serve later
  4. Carrot Juice Recipe
    Good health equals long life. If your health is poor, your life is definitely not going to be as long as expected because there are so many diseases your body must fight against to survive. If you don’t have these anti-disease-fighting agents in the body, definitely your body will depreciate— leading to several kinds of sicknesses— which could even lead to death.
    8 fresh carrots
    1 cup of water
    1 tablespoon of honey (for taste)
    4 ice cubes (optional)
    Wash the carrots thoroughly with clean water
    If desired, you can peel the carrots
    Chop into chunks
    Puree in a juice extractor to smoothness
    Serve and enjoy the scrumptious taste!
  5. Celery Juice Recipe
    Celery is very rich in powerful nutrients that help maintain all-round This green vegetable fruit juice is loaded with essential minerals and vitamins such as folate, potassium, vitamins C, B6, and K. These antioxidants help in reducing the risks of urinary tract infection, preventing ulcers, curing bloating and improving digestion, and many other health benefits.     4 celery stalks
    ½ cup of water
    1 fresh apple (for taste)
    Wash the celery stalks and apple
    Pour in a juicer or high-speed blender
    Puree the ingredients to desired smoothness
    Pour the juice in a cup and serve or refrigerate
