On the 21st of May, 2019, during when Honor – a sub-brand of Huawei – officially launched the Honor 20 series to the market in London, Honor also took that avenue to reveal that the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro will be in the market pretty soon. Moreover, with U.S companies (most prominently Google) cutting off connections with Huawei and by extension its sub-brand, Honor, series of questions were raised as regards whether or not the company would be able to pull off their plan of launching the Honor 20 series as they did on May 21, 2019. At exactly 11:08 AM ET on the 21st of May this year the Honor 20 series launch was effected.
Apparently, though, as at then, the pricing, release and availability information about the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro were not made known. Regardless, these two new smartphones from Honor are well anticipated for their quad-camera setup feature which is the first from the brand. With the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro, Honor is seeking to tread a part far superior than its competitors’. Using the quad-lens setup, the brand focuses on macro photography, with each device coming with a dedicated macro lens.
Yet, for the fact that there are good chances that the delayed announcement of specific launch information of these two new phones is linked to the controversy surrounding Huawei in the U.S, it might be wise to hold off on buying an Honor 20 or Honor 20 Pro for the time being. In a case whereby you are interested in an Honor 20 series phone but are still having one or two doubt as to how to get it, try to find out where and when you can get one, and how much it will cost you.
