Planning a first date can be very hectic, time-consuming and money-sapping. For a guy who has been on over 150 dates, I can say one or two about planning a cost-effective date. One thing I will always tell fellow guys is that “your first date should be casual, but not haphazardly planned.”
If you are looking for a cost effective idea, you should try meeting up in a coffee bar in the morning or afternoon, this kind of outing provides you an opportunity to spend less. However, when planning such a date, you should be very creative as such date might end up in a more friendly tone than a romantic hangout, ensure you select a coffee bar with a good vibe, good music and you set to go.
Another idea I can recommend is going out for dinner, to some, this might sound like a no-brainer because it has become the norm for almost every first date, but a lot of guys always get it wrong. However, to pull this off, you must avoid fancy restaurants, except you are Banky W, Wizkid or 2Baba. Meet up for some local cuisine, something you cannot easily get everywhere, I tell you she would appreciate your simple gesture.
Another awesome cheap idea is to hang out at a beach, trust me, this can be so much fun
, you both can go pebble picking, and occasional running in and out of the waves. To me, this cost little or nothing.
